Silkies are known for its sweet and docile nature. This breed is unique for their soft (cat fur like) feathers that cover them from head to toe. Silkies also have other distinct features: black meat, turquiose ears and five toes. The Silkie originates from Asia and are believed to have medicinal qualities in Chinese culture.
